God is at work and doing a new thing. In responding to God's work we are recreating the Diocese into Regions, Mission Districts and Faith Comunities. We are also refocusing on our mission to the comunities God has placed us in. We serve in exciting times with opportunity for all to join God in his mission.

Bishop Michael Hough has tendered his resignation as the Bishop of Ballarat with his last day in office to be Monday, 20 December 2010, following a service of the Laying up of the Pastoral Staff on Sunday, 19 December 2010.
